                     BULLET BAND HISTORY

When I came off the road with "Vic Dana" it was a fast decision and I found myself on a plane from Shreveport, Louisiana heading back home to Washington DC, Thanksgiving Week of 1977. I called my agent, Barry Rick Productions and he had a group lined up for me to audition with. Back in the day if you worked for Barry Rick you knew most of his bands and they knew you so it made it easy to find work instead of dealing with strangers. In fact I believe I already had the job so We set up at the "Library" lounge in Annapolis, Maryland, had a quick rehearsal and started that night. We played there 2 weeks or so and rehearsed a few times to learn new material. The band had bookings already and did a small amount of traveling to fun places like Ft Lauderdale, Florida and Rehobeth Beach, Delaware.  We go tighter and tighter with all 4 of us singing, played songs by the Eagles, Stevie Wonder and just plain goog ol funk and top 40 dance hits. Roger our drummer at the time left the group to try something else. We found a rocker drummer from Annapolis name Gary whose band just broke up and he fit in easy to what we were playing and also sang. I was married at the time and just as we were making a name for ourselves, my marrage ended and I left the group, moved to Ft Lauderdale, Fla and started the next chapter of my life. It was now the fall of 1979.
