FENDER ROSEWOOD TELECASTER 1987 REISSUE
THIS IS A 1987 FENDER TELECASTER GUITAR IN SOLID ROSEWOOD. IT IS A VERY WOOD AND MOST GUITARS HAVE A ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD LAMINATED ON THE NECK. THE ORIGINAL GUITAR WAS DESIGNED FOR GEORGE HARRISON BACK DURING HIS "LET IT BE" ALBUM. FENDER GAVE THE BEATLES A STRAT AND TELE MADE OF ROSEWOOD AND GEORGE LIKED THE TELE AND ACTUALLY PLAYED IT QUITE A BIT. IT CAME WITH A BLACK PICK GUARD BUT I SWITCHED MINE WITH A TORTOISE SHELL ONE AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE. IT HAS GREAT SUSTAIN AND IT IS ALSO VERY EASY TO PLAY. IT IS A MADE IN JAPAN MODEL AND THEIR FINISHES AND VERY GOOD. I BOUGHT IT NEW IN 1993 AND JUST LIKE THE "THINLINE" MODEL I HAVE, ITS SERIAL # DATES IT BACK TO 1987 SO IT IS NOW 26 YEARS OLD AND LOOKS BRAND NEW.
